135i springs on 335i?

I don't know much about springs, but a buddy with a 135i offered his free used Swift Spec R springs for my e92, as he is going in a different direction. I understand the part numbers are different and I know the e92 weighs more, but I've read on the forums that certain spring and suspension related parts are reversible among the two vehicles.

Can someone analyze the attached spring rates/drops from Swift and determine if this is possible? Again i know absolutely nothing about suspensions and don't know if they will fit, let alone if they can handle the extra weight.

I don't see why not. All E9x/E82 springs are interchangeable.

But you need to make sure the ride height is consistent. Seems to be fine from the spec sheet you posted.

However, I am not sure how much handling improvement you can get just by changing out the springs. Probably not worth the hassles since the problem with stock suspension is the underdamped shock, not really the spring rates.

Ah, good point, I had a feeling that would possibly be the case. But since they're free I may as well do it at least for the aesthetics...fake it till you make it right? Thanks a lot for the input
