Bringing the car in soon for the above. Only thing to do in the engine is the oil change. The rest is stuff like a small door rattle and some new tires. Was going to leave the piggyback and oil catch can in place. Would you take them out before service? Been to this dealer plenty before, but never with the tune and oil catch can. Thoughts?

I can remove them pretty easily, but I'm lazy.

Depends on your dealer. If they're cool leave it, otherwise it's better to err on the side of caution particularly with a newer vehicle.

Actually it's the AA piggyback. The catch can was just kind of an afterthought, something I wanted to try out since a lot of folks recommend either doing walnut blasting or a catch can with a tune. Not sure it was really necessary, but anyways...I'll give SA a heads up, have worked with him before. This is over at Park Ave in Hackensack btw.

More than likely you will be fine, that being said it is always a good idea to let your SA know ahead of time

Worst case scenario just remove the tune before your dealership visit. OCC won't be a problem

Its a little bit of a drive from the Hackensack area, but Open Road BMW of Roxbury on (rt46) does not care about mods. I take mine there as I live close by. I too have the AA8 piggyback and some under hood goodies and they could care less.
Of course if your dragged in on a flat bed and pop the hood then it may raise eye brows..
