Front brake pad change - torque settings required
Hi I am about to change my front pads on my F11 2014. Does anyone know the torque specs for the job?
I have done a search and can find lots of info in the job but no torque specs so far. Thanks |

You don't need the torque specs, just tighten down the caliper bolts till their nice and tight. You do need to torque the wheels thou, I torque my wheels to 105flbs. If you must have the specs for the calipers you can always put you torque wrench on the bolts and see how much it needs to take them off just start at 40ftlbs and increase 5ftlbs at a time till the wrench clicks and it breaks the bolts loose at the same time, then use that number to put them back on. Just remember to retorque the wheels after you drive 25-30 miles.
