This whole down under thing with Australia is just a bunch of Crocodile Dundee. It's a great slogan for the country, but it's not even close to accurate.

The distance from the Equator to the Southernmost part of Australia counting Tasmania is less than 3000 miles. That's the same distance South of the equator as the Northern boarder of California is North of the equator. Almost all of Canada lies further from the Equator than all of Australia.

Australia is not "Down Under". It's more like off to the side.

Ms. Jane, that is not how babies are made.

My mileage varies. The 9 months didn't hurt at all.

Raising kids has it's headache moments but I would absolutely do it all over again. I can certainly see why it's not for everybody.
