Replica LCI headlight horror story "Luoma Motor"

Hey guys,

After reading into these forums, I pulled the trigger on the replica LCI headlights from "Luoma Motor" on Facebook. Do not buy from this seller. They blocked me on messenger after I sent the payment and didn't receive tracking information. After filing a PayPal claim, I was unblocked and actually did end up receiving the lights after a couple months. Weird, but nonetheless I was excited to install them. Install wasn't terrible, I had a great amount of help from Marius76 who I would highly recommend.

After about 2 months, I noticed a bit of condensation inside of the passenger side headlight. This definitely scared me, but it seemed to evaporate with the low/high beams. Just recently, the same headlight is now having issues with the inner DRL, which is extremely dim compared to even the outer DRL strip in the same headlight. I've been trying for weeks to contact "Luoma Motor" to claim the warranty that had been promised. I know they have seen the messages, but refuse customer service.

If anyone has any advice on troubleshooting this headlight, please let me know. It would be quite the pain to have to undo the wiring necessary with these headlights.

Owfff. Sorry this happened to you. If you paid by PayPal or CC I would open a claim. You already know where the reseller stands on backing their products.

I'm gonna link directly to this thread every time I see someone trying to buy Fikons. This was a matter of time.

Buy another set with CC, swap them out, and file a chargeback.

Marius is the man. I hope you can get these resolved, I've seen a few other guys have quality issues like this. It's a bummer these companies aren't even trying

Does anyone happen to know if/how the DRL module(s) can be replaced with these replicas?

Sorry you had a bad experience. I personally had a great experience with Luoma and they were responsive to me.

I'd start with checking if there's any cracks on the headlights towards the back. Might be easier to inspect then if you pull them off. Also, it doesn't hurt to try to pull off some of the modules on the replica headlights and see what's in them. Might be easier to diagnose if there's more information.

Also try to contact Luoma on Whatsapp. +86 180 3866 4035
