It's a brave move for sure by BMW as (from what I've read) the majority think the front looks hideous.

I quite like it though. It's different.

From the spy shots I've seen of the new 4 it has certainly got those grilles on it. They can be seen through the cammo.

Will be interesting to see the price of the M440i when it is finally announced. Given the price of the new M340i I would expect a reasonably kitted out M440i to be around the £56-£58k mark

I suspect I'm in the minority again but I like it. Looks like a 8 series scaled down.

As with most BMWs now I suspect it will look better in the metal than in photos.

Zoom in on the grille. You can see it under the photo you posted. Look at this one. You can clearly see the outline at the top

if you follow the main thread off the front page they have a series of photos in one of the posts that show the grille does actually look like that. The camouflage is made to look like a more traditional grille.

I think it will be slightly toned down however I'm not sure it will grow on me like the new 3 series grille has.
