The story behind this ad. Got 2014 m5 comp package went for 1200 mile service the tech said metal shavings are in the oil. Now I'm getting new engine. This is just engine no outside parts on it. I'm keeping the engine. I can make a nice piece art out of it. The engine located in Los Angeles. If there's interest in the ad might sell it. Just posting to see if anyone looking for project engine.

With a warranty repair they are letting you keep the old engine? I didn't know that was possible with warranty service, anything special that you needed to do to make that happen?
