Wheel and tire question for Xdrive.

Hello! I have looked for the answer to this question on the other threads and couldn’t find it.
I'm currently on the market for a F30 340i and I'm looking at one to maybe get this Friday. The only thing is is that it's X-drive. I have a set of wheels coming that are 18x8.5 ET30 for the front and 18x9.5et30 for the rear. Will I be able to run this setup? And if so what tire size should I go with? I'm looking at getting a 3.5" drop with 12mm spacers and I just want to make sure I can use these wheels. I know I can probably use those wheels but l'm more worried about the tire sizes. Thank kind of you in advance! I'm going from a e90 RWD 328i so help is needed haha thank you again!

offsets are already low. 9.5" ET30 will poke. spacers not required.

225/45/18+255/40/18, you'll need the stretch at the rear

for x-drive max recommended lowering up front is 1.5". lowering changes angle of half shafts into front diff, which puts more stress on the axle. it may also unseat as well. you'll surely have problems with 3 5" lowering.

I see! I was looking for a flush fitment for the rear as my 328 I have currently is on 18x9.5 with 12mm spacers and the wheels are a positive offset of 40 and they are still a little tucked. Also is the front okay? Or should I not put spacers on the front for the flush fitment? I also didn’t know about the whole lowering thing. I’ll keep that In mind when I go to look at springs and coils. I just like the look of a lowered car and flush fitment haha

You can determine the front spacer to match the rear after everything is installed.

Probably 12.5mm spacer up front only
.

Recommend adjustable end links from SPL when you lower the car. It helps.

I am all square with xDrive. 18x8.5 et35 245/45/18. Sitting on KW Street Comfort coilovers.

Is it flush fitment? How low are you?
