Thinking about getting a 335xi
So I'm looking for a new (to me) car and I want something fast, AWD and with 4 doors. Not like there are a lot of choices in my price range, but it's basically either a 335xi (/335i xDrive) or an Evo.
AI'm wondering if you guys can let me know how these cars are, specifically in terms of cost of ownership. Is maintenance really that bad? Apart from oil changes (including engine/trans/TC)? Any common problems or trouble spots with the AWD 335s? (Apart from the HPFP) Thanks for any help/advice Last edited by Proximity; 05-09-2012 at 10:56 PM.. |

Both cars fit your "fast, 4 door, awd and furious" needs lol. Depends what else you want the vehicle for. Evo is less comfortable but easier to get power out of imho and cheaper. 335 is way more comfortable and you can get a lot of power out of the n54/55 but it'll cost you. In turns of maintenance i've only have mine for a month and I haven't had any issues yet. Knocking on wood. I came from a WRX and overall the 335 is a nicer overall car imho but there are things I will miss about the Subie. Test drive them both though.
