California Beemers
Hi, I was wondering if anybody ever bought a car from California Beemers. I'm in the market for an e90 and they "seem" like a good dealership. Please let me know your experience with this dealership. Thanks.

I wouldn't, they are infamous for buying really messed up cars that dont have a salvage title and fixing them to perfection in ordinary buyers' eyes.

I checked out what they had, but other than that no experience with them. They're strictly a used car dealer, and not a BMW dealership.

Its pretty well known, I have a friend who used to work there as well. And if you look at most of their cars, theres always some part of it that doesnt belong. I.E. I was just looking at a car on their site, white 535i with m kit, and take a look at the wheels, I am pretty sure those were the ones that were on the e46 bodies.

You might save a few bucks, but might "pay for it" in the long run.

Get a BMW from a BMW dealer only. Certified!! You might save with a used car dealer but the reasons why you are saving is they have not done any outstanding maintenance to the car such as tires brakes etc... Also probably bad carfax or no title some pain in ass stuff. So spend a few more dollars go certified from a BMW dealer and get a certified finance rate low rates instead of a high rate from a used car dealer and have a mint condition pre owned car with great warranty, condition and serivice!!!

stay way i almost bought a BSM 335 loaded for 32k was their listing price. Ran a carfax and it was bought from an auction. It sounded too good to be true so it probably was.

Auctions arent that bad, most used cars from a dealer like this would be bought from an auction. You just need to see if had any prior work done to it, take it to a shop if you dont know how to tell yourself.

I test drove an 06 330i today and had the worse customer service experice. The "sales man" was very unknowledgeable about this car. To top it off he was very rude. I ask him if everything worked and he rudely replied "Ofcourse everything works, its certified" During the test-drive I asked if I can take it on the highway and he replied with a firm "no, no we don't allow highway test-drives"....In my head I was like...wtf kind of dealer is this.... Anyway when we finish the test-drive I asked him if I can look under the hood. Again I asked him if everything worked....he turned his head and mumbled something. I had it so I just walked out....
Just wanted to share my California Beemers story. |

Do not buy from these guys. Well known in the West LA area, heck their friends don't even buy from them...they all say stay away! Most cars are previous salvaged vehicles. Hence the price. I was looking at a particular 5 series before for my mom, noticed the salvage and passed. Then a few weeks later, noticed same VIN was still for sale and the salvage title was nowhere on the carfax anymore. Buyer beware!
