I had something similar years ago. I hit a sinkhole on the highway it was really bad and everything seemed like it broke. All lights came on I thought it was done. Pulled over turned off the car and drove home. Two bent wheels but no loss in power or anything. I took it to the dealer under warranty and they said sometimes when u hit something so big the sensor acts up and does all weird things. Never happened again.

I see you are in NY. Those NY roads are disgusting. Night and day with MD where I work. Since changing from run flats I have been driving gingerly in NY. Roads are just bad!! |

This winter I hit a pothole at night on highway. Not only my headlight housing brackets got broken, but also the aim adjusting mechanism inside the light housing assembly got dislodged. The shock literally hit my teeth against each other, the worst I had experienced. That was my 2nd set of RFTs and pushed me over the fence to ditch them. Now have regular tires with a tire repair kit and pump in the trunk, much smoother. RFTs are really harsh at discontinuities on the road, and XI front shocks bottom out easier making it worse.
The OPs cost is worse then mine, I only had to buy a used headlight assembly and replace it. |

I dont have the invoice on me but it was one of the modules, cost about $250 for the part and then another $600 in labor because the computer needed to be reprogrammed.
