If I didn't bump it. We couldn't have this conversation!

I’m running a PFC brake kit. Only difficult tasks with installing a brake kit on the e9x are the short brake line sections on the rear. Such a pain in the ass to change.

I’ve had PFC brake kits since 2009. I’ve had them so long now that PFC stopped supporting both the Z54/Z45 kit and the Z31/Z31 kit. Stocked up on rotor rings so I’m covered for quite a few years. PFCs kits are phenomenal. The Z54/Z45 kit is better overall mainly because it offers thicker pads - F caliper uses a 27 mm-thick pad. Z31 calipers are a monobloc design so the caliper is considerably stiffer and uses four pads/caliper. A PFC engineer told me the Z31, due to its compact size, was the stiffest caliper they’d ever made. PFC ownership changed and now they primarily make race pads only and calipers for professional racing (including IndyCar calipers and carbon rotors). Oddly enough they still offer $15k brake kits for Porsche GT street cars!
