question about the sign in the cluster

Hi there got a sign in my e60 m5 cluster when I switch it off. anyone can tell what s the meaning?

Also I am not quite sure about the gear knob position when I start the car, is must be in n correct? When you start the car or switch it off, it must at N right?

I could be wrong, but I learned to leave a manual transmission in gear while parked. Reason being that the parking brake (especially on a hill) is not all that reliable. This warning is likely telling you that your car might roll.
