2007 335i 60k miles, $23.9?

Just wanted to see what you guys thought about the pricing of this 2007 335i e92 w/ prem, sport, black on black 60k miles, they want $23,900. I have to say i was pretty surprised to see how great of condition it is in given the miles, it has had one owner, been serviced at the same dealership, clean car fax. Your thoughts on the price? I think it'd be worth my money for $21,000. Any help appreciated!

out of warranty, i can purchase one for around $2200 that will cover it for another 36 months/36k miles. I'll have to check on the brakes, tires etc when i have a chance to look at it during the day.

I would say 21,000 if they give you 4 new tires and brake service all around. Offer 1500$ for the 3/36. Ask for more than you need and see what happens.

Not a 335 but it gives you an idea of the current market

and this one is 335: http://newyork.craigslist.org/brk/cto/2126685098.html

I think that's a decent price for e92. I still see e93 with CPO going for upper 30s in the northeast.

That's high mileage for a 2007 (the base mileage is 40k). Assuming the car has a 6MT, the dealer has about $17,700 (wholesale value) into the car before reconditioning (if it has an AT then add another $650). Add another $1,400 for minor reconditioning (new tires, brake pads, etc.) IF APPLICABLE. Then work your offer up from this wholesale value.

I agree that $21,000 wouldn't be a bad deal on a reconditioned AT car.

IMO, if the car has a 6MT it's worth about $20,000 retail (reconditioned). If the car has worn tires and brakes, then it's worth about $18,500 retail.

Thanks, that's a big help. I'm going back today to get a better look at the car and get info on the brakes and tires. I'll let you guys know.
