Car wouldn't start, then started but died idling post clutch change

Just had the clutch/flywheel assembly replaced in my 08 with +/-135,000 miles. 6MT

I was getting a clunk from the rear end after the clutch was disengaged at low speed so I was planning on taking it back to the shop to look everything over.

After around 250 miles on the new assembly, the car did not fire at start.
I could hear the starter ticking but it wouldn't turn over.

I tried starting it again the next day, and the car starting without hesitation. I filled it up with gas while keeping the car running to be cautious, and the car died while idling (while gas was going in). When I tried to turn the car on again it fired right up.

Today the car started and I took it back to the shop.
Codes were ran, it is showing

D904 K-CAN line fault
A0B5 Fault, road speed signal
A118 Roadspeed signal implausible
A0B4 Engine Start, Starter Operation
2B59 Coolant Thermostat Monitoring

The Battery was replaced a couple years ago, other than Turner Stage 1 I have no engine mods.

I would think my starter is going, but why would it then die while idling?
Is it possible cables were not reconnected property after the clutch replacement?

Any ideas are appreciated..

its possible the wiring harness is damaged. hopefully the shop owns whatever mistake they made and dont try to charge you.

Based on the fault for the starter stored in the cas I’d be willing to bet you’re starter has failed. Just a coincidence as you don’t touch the starter to do a flywheel/clutch. If it was something the shop did like misalignment of the flywheel it wouldn’t have started at all and they would’ve had to take it back apart and put the flywheel in the proper position.

The shop fixed the clunking issue but tightening bolts by the guibo that was replaced.

For the non start, shop was unable to replicate. They recommended I get battery tender as the car isn't a daily. Will see if this reoccurs..

Was the crankshaft position sensor damaged during the clutch/flywheel replacement?

It would't be the starter if the car is starting up and then shutting off while idling.
