Will this fit?
Typical wheel question.
I have style 159 rims on my 08 328xi. I want to put on style 5s from a 99 528i sport. Old wheels: 17x8 et34 225/45r17 (style 159) New wheels: 17x8 et20 235/45r17 (style 5 aka bbs rc090) I used the calculator and it says " 14mm MORE clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 14mm." It's a 1.399% difference. I've seen this done on other 328s but idk if they are I or xi. Thanks in advance, Will |

The wheels will fit, but you might need to use the 225/45/17's. The 235/45/17's might work, but it will be close up front.
The difference in tire sizes doesn't matter on an xi if you are using the same sized tires front and back. |
