Interior Lights Upgrade?
Has any one tried this Mod yet:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2508325969...=p5197.c0.m619 Basically swapping out the old bulbs for these LED ones for a crisper whiter light. Would they throw any errors or not do you think ? . |

I have tried them, and I can say, they are brilliant. I always use led bright lights in my cars. Hate yellow interior light. |

also do they do all the lights - roof/dome front and middle, visor mirrors, puddle lights, glovebox, footwells and boot? saw these - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-3-Seri...ht_2254wt_1378 seem good? |

You can have error codes logged, but you won't see it unless you have the gear to read them out.
No big deal, unless those errors upset the operation of the interior lamps. I would ask the question.

I did not get any error on EBC, but with BT tool, they were hidden (will not come up on car display). I cleared them, and they never appeared again.

arrggghh.
they're fookin hideous! LEDs give 'bright white' sterile, cold, mortuary lighting, not a nice light for comfort. nice subtle, warm incandescant glow much better IMO. |

I did mine with LED bulbs, though don't think they are error free.
One problem I do have is when I switch on the map/reading lights (front or back), they switch off after a bit on their own accord, so clearly something not right there. Haven't had the time to look into it yet. |
