Interior Lights Upgrade?

Has any one tried this Mod yet:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2508325969...=p5197.c0.m619

Basically swapping out the old bulbs for these LED ones for a crisper whiter light.

Would they throw any errors or not do you think ?

I have tried them, and I can say, they are brilliant.
I always use led bright lights in my cars. Hate yellow interior light.

Are there specific ones to get i.e. like from the link?
I am just thinking out loud (me being tight lol) would it be cheaper buying individual led bulbs?

Which kit did you buy? are they error free and are they really bright? didnt want anything really really bright.

also do they do all the lights - roof/dome front and middle, visor mirrors, puddle lights, glovebox, footwells and boot?

saw these - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-3-Seri...ht_2254wt_1378

seem good?

You can have error codes logged, but you won't see it unless you have the gear to read them out.
No big deal, unless those errors upset the operation of the interior lamps.
I would ask the question.

I went to individual bulbs as mistyrn said above.

I did not get any error on EBC, but with BT tool, they were hidden (will not come up on car display). I cleared them, and they never appeared again.

arrggghh.

they're fookin hideous!

LEDs give 'bright white' sterile, cold, mortuary lighting, not a nice light for comfort.

nice subtle, warm incandescant glow much better IMO.

I did mine with LED bulbs, though don't think they are error free.

One problem I do have is when I switch on the map/reading lights (front or back), they switch off after a bit on their own accord, so clearly something not right there.

Haven't had the time to look into it yet.

I've put these LEDS: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-3-SERI...6#ht_806wt_986

My car looks sick inside and even from the outside!

LOL im having trouble taking the front dome off so they're still stock but my footwells on the other hand are pretty badass!
