Bluetooth handsfree and music - Kufatec Fiscon or Dynavin?
Hey Guys.
Ive been looking for a way to get Bluetooth handsfree in my car and I´ve been racking my brain about what to get. The "easiest" plug and play option for my HiFi equipped E91LCI seems to be the KUFATEC FISCON system I found when googling. From what I can understand, Its a "plug and play" full Bluetooth option incl steeringwheel integration aswell as music streaming option. I can also install the OEM microphone in the ceiling for a totally factory look. Im also in the EU, so shipping is ok, asI have a local supplier. http://www.ampire.de/Bluetooth-Car-K...=19269&p=19269 Cost for this option would be ~3900 Swedish Kroner (Roughly 520 USD) BUT, Iva also looked at Dynavin. Granted, Its about 50% more money but functionality is good and the HiFi soundsystem needs some form of upgrade to sound better (Im thinking an EQ might be a good idea). Not really bothered about the NAV, as I use my phone with WAZE mostly. But the cost has me hesitating. The supplier is also local, so I will have support if I need it. Cost is about 5600 Swedish kroner (roughly 750 USD) Anyone care to have an opinion?! Is the extra 230 usd worth it? I usually just use the radio for easy listenening, but I do talk alot on the phone while driving (traveling salesmen). The audio is usually radio, CD or MP3s off a USB memorystick. Im doing the install myself, or atleast thats the plan.

If you are still going through the Hi Fi amp and speakers

I don't think you would get much sound quality improvement but for the base system its gotta be better. head unit http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ight=head+unit http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...hlight=dynavin http://www.janus-design.net/english/ http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ight=head+unit http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...hlight=dynavin http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...hlight=dynavin http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...light=retrofit http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...hlight=dynavin What I get from the above threads is although the Dynavin looks like it belongs in the dash its kind of a clunky low quality unit. Also you have to be aware of all the side effects of a aftermarket HU install and be ready to counter them if needed. |
