yeah, i watched FOX on that. I don't get why they didn't put higher security over the tiger when it attacked the people who fed/worked with the tiger last year. -__-;; Unfortunate events. Kinda got me wondering if zoo is the place to take kids if that's how it's gunna be.

I love how your topic says tiger killed and doesn't even mention the kid that died.

Shouldn't the title of this thread be focused on the poor soul whom the tiger killed?

There's billions of humans in this world, hardly anywhere near as many tigers.

?????

WTF? Even if it was the last tiger on earth, human life is still way more valuable.

The questions they were still posing this mornign when I heard was whether the tiger got out on its own or if it had some "help" with the locks.

O-cha you need to reevaluate your view of the world.

Really? Shall we pave over the entire world too. Actually I would like that more places to drive. But seriously just think about it for a second, why do you value a human life over an animals? I imagine its something similar to why its ok to beat snakes to death with sticks but to leave bunnies alone. There is no logical reason a human life is more valuable.

Saw it on the news just the other day (I believe it was Xmas day??). That was very unfortunate. The same tiger attacked someone around the same time last year but they never consider putting it down.

It is unfortunate and my condolences to the families that suffered.
The situation was horrible, but we should not blame the tiger. Tigers are not pets. They are carnivores and should be treated with respect they deserve. In addition, the tiger probably wasn't very happy living in the zoo. How would you feel if someone puts you in a cage for public display?
