Exclamation Tyers

Hello everyone,

I currently have an E92 with the upgraded 225m 19" alloy wheels, I need a full set of new tyres and have made the decision (after lots of research) to do away with the run flats.

I have decided to go for the Falken 452's. Will the following sizes be ok for my wheels:

Front Falken 452 - 235/35 R19
Rear Falken 452 - 265/30 R19

The tyres I have on at the minute are as follows:

Front Run Flat - 225/35 R19
Rear Run Flat - 255/30 R19

Do the Falken sizes sound ok and will there be any problems as they are different sizes than the run flats I currently have on??

Sorry for the question but I don’t have a clue when it comes to tyres!!

Any help will be much appreciated

Absolutely fine

If you ever take out an extended warranty through bmw/mondial they will play up if you need to claim on the suspension.

My view was, they would wriggle out anyway as suspension is wear and tear.

I had it in writing, changing to non run flats fine but need to keep right sizes. I'm pretty sure they have to prove it though.

What your doing is very common on these boards, piston heads etc

The ES has the same suspension as the SE. One comes with runflats, with the other it's an "extra."

Some BMW dealers' staff seem to regard changing as an issue - others think that you simply wear out the runflats then change to a standard tyre - like the other 95% of cars on the road.

If you are not careful you will over-complicate a simple matter.
