Hello - first post

Just recently sold my 2004 audi s4 (jhmtune, catless dp, magnaflow, cayenne bbk) and purchased a 2007 335i coupe manual.
Its a big change going from the tuned v8 audi to the boosted 6...but I like it. The 6 is creamy smooth and gets way better fuel mileage, but has has a bit too much lag for my liking. The cobb tuner and the vrsf downpipes sitting in my living room will hopefully help with that! The car has 180k (km), so it is in need of a few suspension pieces...so some front and rear m3 pieces will be on order shortly.
Forum looks great so far...informative and interesting posts...great reading!

I had a B6 S4 as well before my 335.

It's nice not putting oil in every day haha

I second that. I always carried a 5 liter jug of oil in the s4. The 335 with more miles has used little or no oil

Yes I got a fair bit of service history with the car and many of the common issues adressed (hpfp, waterpump and tstat, etc.) Many of the miles easy highway running.

I do all my own wrenching, and am am not affraid to attempt just about anything (just finished a timing refresh on my 2001 x5 4.4...even made my own timing tools), so a higher mile 335 does not scare me...too much! Also I have become use to the quirks of euro car ownership (saab, vw, audi, volvo, bmw) so I am always searching thru great forums like this to help keep the beasts running. Also my 180k is only 111k mles.
