March 6th ~ DFW Bimmer Meet!
GAME PLAN
2.) Dev (DevJ) 3.) Soorena (ghosthi32) 4.) Andrew (ssh229) 5.) Mike (Twistastick) maybe? 6.) James (Shady1) 7.) Cal (calintexas) 8.) Edwin (artifice) maybe? 9.) Darren (Suprane) maybe? 10.) Das Ein ('08 135i) 11.) Thomas (Mack211) 12.) Matt (randomquickness) 13.) Chad (ceesM3) 14.) buschy 15.) 16.) 17.) 18.) EVERYONE: If you are one of the folks who will meet us directly at Cars & Coffee, PLEASE BE SURE TO PARK CLOSE TO ALL THE M3's. Again, try your best to park close to us, whether it be alongside the curb, or parallel parked in front of us. This in turn will help us know who is within our group, especially when it's time to depart. Another important reminder: Please be prepared to know where you are going, just in case the signals turn red, and we lose some of our group members when driving to our destinations. If we do happen to lose some people behind, I request the folks ahead to slow down, and for the folks behind to speed up so that they may catch up. Thanks. |

Man, you're too flexible. You're suppose to give me a hard time, by saying that the last place was too far for you, and that you wanna meet at your home instead!
Spectacular! Sweet! |

i think meeting somewhere relatively close to classic BMW is a great idea; nearby areas are very accessible via tollway or george bush -> tollway, when thinking of what could make for nice photos before/after, the shops at legacy come to mind? if you drive past jaspers there's that little manmade lake, it would be sweet if we could get a whole side of the lake parallel parked with members of the forum... as for where to eat...fireside pies has a location on the north side of the shops at legacy, jasper's has an outstanding brunch (but it might be sunday only), for something more affordable i'm a big fan of gazeebo burgers at parker/communication boardwalk ferrari is also nearby and has plenty of parking next to the dealership, not sure if they'll be ok with it, where did you guys meet up at boardwalk porsche last weekend? the parking lot at the NE corner of park/tollway also comes to mind, near that supertarget/i fratelli/tin star, in fact tin star might be another potential place to eat...or that starbucks nearby finally there's plenty of parking spaces at the shops at willowbend that we could take over for an hour before meets... just some ideas!

We Ended Up In front of the Audi Store
There was parking there and there wasn't in front of the Porsche store. The gates are still shut at that hour. It's potentially handy to have the gas station right there.

We'll definitely take you up on your ideas, Phil. Quote:
I forgot to really think about where we were gonna park when we arrived at the Porsche dealership. You're right, it's good to have a gas station handy, especially if we decide to go for a fun cruise or something. |

The Parts I Participated in Went Well
I think everything went well (except the weather). It looks to me that a number of clubs/groups are using Cars & Coffee as part of their meets. I'm glad that people have enjoyed it.
My understanding is that there will be a C&C 2/27 & one the next weekend on 3/6. There should probably just be a meet on one of the weekends, but you might want to be a little bit flexible and shoot for the best weather.

Cal, how should we handle the idea on which date to have our meet this next time? I'm thinking it would be better for us to leave it on the 6th, for the sake of preventing misunderstandings....Especially since I've already informed other members that our next meet is gonna take place on the first Saturday of March. What do you say? |

No Issue with Parking at the Boardwalk
Don't worry about it. We could of fit in the back of the gas station if we'd needed to. It's a small enough area that we found each other fine.

Don't Let That Hold You Back
C&C is really something if you haven't been.

Cars and Coffee is the only way I can get a good turn out of people You guys did not get to see all the vettes and stuff that came out with me they went to a place to tune their vettes after cars and coffee. I think you should not just keep this Meet open to just M3's but other BMW's as well you can get a bigger turn out this way Well at least in my part of Texas M3post, E90post and 1addicts do dinner meets and stuff together
