I believe it could be coded for another car, but the dealer would charge for that. Maybe a local with "coding" skills could do it for free.

I think your right, pretty sure keys come from BMW already programmed to your car...i could be thinking of comfort access but i think it goes for all keys

I think you changed your screen name too and the VMR spacers are the only ones I've seen on the forum, I remember how they looked, and saw your iTrader.

Thanks for bringing this up. I looked this up a bit. While I'm still not sure what the exact answer is, my quick online research showed me that this key probably cannot be used for another car. It may be reprogrammed to lock/unlock a car, but I read that it's transponder will not match another car's ID, which has to be done from the BMW factory. But again, I'm not sure, so if you guys know any more, please let me know. Until then, I'll take it off the market. Thanks.

If you got those OEM rims and tires, you won't have any rubbing issue. They are true and without any vibration or wobble. Functionally they're good; they just have cosmetic chips on the edges from prying off as they fit tightly into the hubs.

Hey, thanks for the offer, but 10 isn't worth the trouble. I'll just keep it.
