My Dad didn't talk about Vietnam much, but I remember him saying that he was still around and therefore I am because of the close air support from the air. He was a grunt in the Marines and he said that you guys and others got them out of a lot of bad spots. |

I'm glad the M3 is still fun as you say it obviously can't replace flying an F-18. At least you have something to get the adrenaline going still. I don't blame you for not wanting to be an airline pilot. It sounds like the industry has really changed and it isn't nearly as good of a job as it used to be. Plus it has to be a big let down going from a fighter to an airliner flying wise. I suppose it would be going from driving a race car to driving a bus. I didn't fulfill my dream of becoming a pilot, but at least I have some solo hours. I guess it is something. It did help with the girls in High School as I was the one of the few people in school that knew how to fly a plane. |

And you have an Audi Q7, 911 turbo, and Porsche Speedster in your stable...pray tell how you managed such an arsenal as a welding supplier...I need a change of profession.

Did you end up flying anything else after the Phantom? Thank you as well for service, especially during a very unpopular war and an era where you guys treated unbelievably poorly. |

Sounds like Delta doesn't appreciate what a guy used to carrier landings can do to their gear
