V4 new 4-8 beta log

Last night durring the big storms on the east coast I got new firmware and maps from shiv. Today is nice and dry temps in the mid 50's so I went out and did some logs. this is 3rd gear (to much traffic for 4th). 55%UT, 50%IC, 20%upshift softening. 93 oct. gas. Boost tapper drops below 10psi at the end which I think is a little low. Maybe Shiv can tell me if that is what it should be or if that is a sign that I may have a boost leak.

Looks much better. Boost is stable and timing looks good. At least your not boosting over 17 psi with your mods. 16 is still high for your mods IMO

Any reason you don't start logging at 3k rpm?

You really go to start logging at a lower rpm.

yeah definitely start around 3k

I was on the highway and this was a snippet of a 2nd through 4th log, so the log starts when it shifted from 2nd into 3rd at WOT. I was coming up on traffic to fast and shut it down before I could run out 4th. Yes, normaly I would try and start at 3k.

Shiv does the boost tapper look right?

Don't post partial logs since they don't give a full picture. And yes, boost taper looks perfectly fine. What? They don't have cops there?? Lol

thanks, I'll try and get logs starting at the 3k range. No cops in NC since they put Sheriff Hege in jail...lol
