About 70% of my rationale for buying them was for the yellow blinker. The rest was because I thought the smoked gray complimented my sparkling graphite. Don't necessarily think the smoked look compliments all the colors though....

I like the stock lights on the sliver color only. other than that i prefer the blacklines especially on dark colors

Agree. When I first saw the E90 in person I thought that it was some temporary plastic thing. It's weird, but BMW usually has a reason....so I guess it's to make the reverse lights appear as bright as possible or something. Now I don't even notice it. And most people that look at your car aren't seeing it from 3 feet away or less.....that's when it looks the strangest.
