Ultimate Racing Downpipes - SOLD
Sold my truck, so I have the Ultimate Racing Downpipes off my X5M. These are the catted ones, and I had them coated with 2000° Black JetHot ceramic coating. They were on my truck for literally 2 months and less than 2,000 miles. Fit all N63/S63 V8s, in the X5/X6, 550i, 550i GT, 650i, 750i (pre-refresh). I rarely get on here, so PM me if interested. OP what state are you located in? If so did you have any emissions issues if in a state that you have to pass OBD readiness with the upgraded cats did they pass?
Trying o determine if getting a carted DP for my x5M I just picked up is worth the hassle of emissions |

I'm in New York City. No emissions issues with these. In fact, they fixed an issue I was having. With the stock cats the OBD-2 was showing that the cats weren't ready. Swapped these on and all of a sudden, all was good.

$1295. Thats what UR charges for them uncoated. These are coated which was $210. They'll charge you for shipping. I'm including it, despite the fact that I paid to have them shipped from UR to me, from me to JetHot and from JetHot to me. You're saving nearly $200 on that. So between the coating and shipping, you're saving $400 for a measly 2 months of service, plus you know they fit, which is always a question with aftermarket parts. Doesn't anybody want to save a few hundred dollars?
$1250 if you want to pick them up in Queens, NYC or I'll be up in Rhode Island early October, down in South Jersey late November, and in Central Florida around Christmas. Driving to all, so I can meet along I-95. Last edited by Mike_L; 09-21-2013 at 10:55 PM.. Reason: Price reduction for pickup. |

Still available..
To clear up some issues a few people have asked about; 1. No, there is no flex pipe. I don't think one is really needed. These mount pretty solid between the turbos and the exhaust, and the stock brackets mount them stiff. Even with flex pipes, they aren't gonna move. 2. The metal is not as cheap as people make it out to be. No, its not the high end stainless steel that you're gonna find on the $3,500 German downpipes. It is a lower grade stainless though, and with the JetHot coating, its not going to rot. There is some surface rust on the flanges, but it brushes away easily, leaving the metal unscathed. They also cost almost a third of those German pipes, so you wouldn't expect the same materials. The performance is the same or better than all the others though according to URs dyno testing, regardless of price. 3. They are 100% street legal!! They DO NOT throw a code. The O2s show up as "Ready" for the OBD-2 testing, and they will pass any sniffer test in the country. 4. Warranty issues are non issues. These are almost completely hidden by the 8 heat shields when installed on the car. The dealer will never know you have them unless they're replacing the turbos. They probably won't care either. My dealer knew I had them and it was never an issue. 5. The sound. These do make the exhaust louder. And during normal driving, the tone isn't really pleasant to somebody like me who grew up with American V8s. It sounds kinda ricey. Thats just what the motor sounds like the way BMW designed the exhaust. At WOT, though, with the valves open, the sound is EPIC. Its a wail, that sounds like a cross between a Gallardo V10 and a flat plane Ferrari V8. Wonderful. Wish I had recorded it before I pulled these to use as my ringtone. What year was your X5m?, as that will make a difference in whether they fit or not.

My M was a 2012. These should fit all N63 and S63 motors. They all share the same part number downpipes according to BMW. Part numbers 18327645234 and 18327645235 are the BMW numbers, and are used on the following:
E70: E70 X5 M SUV E70N: E70N X5 50iX SUV E71: E71 X6 50iX SAC E71 X6 M SAC E72: E72 Hybrid X6 SAC F01: F01 750i Sedan F01 750iX Sedan F01 ALPINA B7 Sedan F01 ALPINA B7X Sedan F02: F02 750Li Sedan F02 750LiX Sedan F02 ALPINA B7L Sedan F02 ALPINA B7LX Sedan F04: F04 Hybrid 7 Sedan F04 Hybrid 7L Sedan F07: F07 550i Gran Turismo F07 550iX Gran Turismo F10: F10 550i Sedan F10 550iX Sedan F12: F12 650i Convertible |

Believe me or not, but there are 2 different versions. You need to specify a 2 bolt fitment or not. Check the other post for brand new AR downpipes, the same issue occure there that required the return of the unused downpipes.

Best I can do $1,000 plus shipping or picked up. No extras, no BS. If you want to pay by PayPal, add 3% to cover the fees, or you can send it to me as a Personal payment through them as Money owed.
Shipping is likely going to be around $45-50, depending on where they're going. I'll try to get some better pictures later today. The original pictures make them look like they're a lot worse than they are. They aren't rusted or corroded on the flanges like it shows. |

According to BMW's cross reference they do, but only up to 3/11 builds with the 2 bolt flange. 04/11 and up is slip fit for the 5 and 7 series.
I have no idea when the SUVs changed over to slip fit, or if they ever did. My X5M was a 08/11 build and had the flanges. Last edited by Mike_L; 11-18-2013 at 08:20 PM.. Reason: More info. |

Pair these with the Burger Module I just listed! My X5M ran 12.39@112.1 with the pair, and 3.97sec 0-60.
