Thought these are interesting, I'm always impressed when I see the LCI G30 taillights on the road. Generally I still find it weird to have replica of another car's taillight design on an older model, but I wonder if they look as good and as modern as the OEM G30 tails:

Yeah, for once aftermarket tails that don't look cheap/ricey.

I don't know that I like them $500 more than my OEM LCI tails, but if I had the pre-LCI F30, they'd be pretty appealing.

These taillights have been around for quite some time, on Ali. Since I've already fully upgraded the car's lighting from Xenon to LED headlights, fogs & taillights, I saw no justification for a mild cosmetic upgrade, that might look out of place or wouldn't work properly, as the OLED taillights had resistor issues back when they were released.

The newer LED headlights inspired from the 2024, 4 series, look sick on the F30, and are a already a bargain at the current price.

Is anyone willing to review these G30 taillights?

I agree that they look really sick... but more importantly, are they even street legal? Like is there any approval from DOT or ECE?

if I had to guess, probably not. I'm assuming they check for that stuff in Germany? I don't think our car inspection in US ever checks for that kind of stuff, at least not where I live.

on another note, I saw a video of these type of replica G30 taillights installed on a F10, I'm assuming the F30 tails have same sort of startup animation and also brake effect. The display portion starts at around 2:40 mark of the video:

Not where I live either. All they check is if they work. With all aftermarket LED I'm technically not DOT approved, no one has ever said boo about it.
