You may have to replace the front bumper and therefore need a new paint job on the new bumper plus install. Your well over you deductible IMO.

If its just the bumper, you could do a couple things. Depending on how bad the "dent" part is, you can get that fixed and get it resprayed (I would guess around US$500) or so. The other option would be to order a new factory painted Euro bumper (PM Gary at Rennsport on this forum) - those are quite a bit more expensive but you get factory paint. Don't let it get to you to much, shit happens...

I had a similar thing happen to my BMW. They fixed it for $240 and looks perfect. I would think fixing the M3 will cost a bit more.

Do Canadian M3s get the European style bumper or the US style (with the orange reflectors)? If it were me, I think I would use this opportunity to get Euro spec bumper. Good luck.

thanks guys, i actually got most of the dent out, pushing and stuuf...just a small part left, about the size of a golfball. but the deep gashes and white still remains, my car is jerez. i am bringing it to my local detailer who does bumper repair, to see how much, i dont think it should be that bad...but i dont want it to be noticeable. what i realized though, is when i hit the bumper on the rocks, i slashed the sidewall of that tire.....about a penny deep.

They are going to have to repaint the whole bumper. What is your definition of not that bad?
