Carrying out an Update Service in order to update the connection.

This can be performed as follows:

Depending on the year and type of your vehicle, go to BMW Assist, ConnectedDrive or Apps by using your iDrive control unit.

Under BMW Assist or ConnectedDrive:
- Open Settings (button around your iDrive control unit).
- Click on Update BMW Services.

Under Apps:
- Click on All Apps.
- Open Settings (button around your iDrive control unit).
- Click on Update apps and services.

Last update to the head unit on: 03/11/2022 10:02:43

Was Donor EVO ID5 Head Unit flashed with Car VIN first?

I don’t know exactly because I bought it and installed. Is there any way to check this?

HU already has 6AK Coding, and VIN has ConnectedDrive Services, which Apps are part of it. Your new Donor HU has NOT been Provisioned for your VIN though, which is a problem. Again, I would flash Head Unit with valsi EVO ID5 FA with your car VIN.

Thanks for the reply 🤗 Btw i have got a dealer who can generate fsc code, agreed on coding himself and is located in my country, but he is concerned that 6NR will not work outside US on US imported car, is this true? Is it country based, or can work anywhere?

I am not aware of any Regional restriction on 6NR.

I recently had my remote application services expired and I am looking to see if they can be re-enabled.
I have yet to see how to do it, but I think they ask you for a code or something.
Would you be so kind to send it to me.
