not sure where you are obtaining your information, but you do NOT need MPPSK to run a down pipe.

downpipe and aftermarket axle back seems to be the perfect combo.

if you do not have, or are not planning to get a flash tune, you will need to get one of these catted downpipes, which do NOT propagate a CEL:
