May as well fill up with race fuel!
Price of premium here in CA now $6.56. Race gas remains unchanged at $9.99 (been same price a year or so since I’ve paid any attention). When they converge I think I’ll just daily drive on the 100 octane stuff!

Never had seen that at a gas station in Washington. It is sold at Pacific Raceway though.

We’re only 91 octane here so I throw a gallon of race gas in just for fun when I fill up and am in the mood. I feel a difference but probably just in my head.

Pasadena Auto Wash sells 100 octane at the pump. However they only let you do it if you're getting a car wash from them. I would fill the C63 with two to three gallons of race fuel and top off with premium in order to average 93 octane. It may have been imagined but the backfires seemed better with the higher octane fuel. |

I don't see why not. 91 is the highest readily available pump gas in most of California. Higher octane is better for the B58 and 93 is more prevalent in most areas. You won't be tuned for the 100 octane, but its not worse than 91.

Canada doesn't have 93 either; Just 91 or some select few stations with 94

not all race gas is unleaded. Make sure yours is so you don't harm your exhaust system.

Most California race gas at the pump is 100 or 101oct unleaded.

As for gas prices, yeah, it's through the roof these days but you guys in the US still have it much better. Our premium 93 at Esso here in Toronto cost the equivalent of $7.65 per US gallon when I last filled up a few days ago and that was before prices shot up the next day. It's even worse in other places like Europe or Australia. |

Petro Canada still sells the old Sunoco 94. They call it Ultra 94. Not every station carries it.
Hey you USA guys, Do you still have Sunoco Gas for sale? |

I believe Sunoco is just a distributor in the US. I think the race gas I got at the 76 station is a Sunoco product.

We haven't had Sunoco here in Canada for about 20 years now. It was ALWAYS my gas of choice. At least Petro Canada kept the Ultra 94. I used it in my Datsun 260Z, RX7 and current Saab 9-3
