Anyone tried changing oem angel eye color?

Hi guys

Eagerly awaiting my E93 335i, and im already working on my mod plans

Two things really bug me about this car, the first is the lack of any turbo sound - but jp335i has proved that can be taken care of nicely. Secondly is the damn angel eyes that are on all the time! And worse still theyre yellow

How do BMW light the angel eyes up? Do they use a regular globe and fibre optics like those aftermarket kits? Id imagine that globe is replaceable, and can just drop in a blue colored globe to give white light?

wow such hostility over the angle eyes

didnt realise there was so much love. Must be a US thing, because here in Aus they've already been done with so many BMs, and even Civics and Lancers, whored up with aftermarket angel eye kits

i dont mind them, but having them on ALL THE TIME, even on hot 30-40 degree days, is teh gay

so im thinking at least if they have to be on, itd be better that they were white not 1970's halogen yellow

well i get behind the wheel of our 996 Turbo S and you can hear the turbo's spool up on big throttle openings. Plus a nice wastegate swoosh when letting off/changing gears at big rpms

The angel eyes on the E92 are different than they are on the E90.

well, i guess in north america, we don't see that much angel eyes, other than BMW.....although i DO have a friend with a scion....his car has angel eyes and even on his taillights too....haha

i doubt the 335 can be compared to a Turbo S.....in terms of the turbo AND the car.....haha...

ps...i did not mean any offense in my comments...just try to read it slowly, i wasn't yelling or anything....
