I'm interested, but a couple of questions - Does my lid pop on? Did you ever test if a pairof glasses actually fit? The space seems so shallow.

To answer your question for OP yes you reuse your lid and depending on the sunglasses but majority of them do fit comfortably attached are pictures of a pair of Ray-Ban new wayfarers eye size 55 for reference
