N52 Oil Pick Up Tube

Hello everyone,

So my vanos gear bolts broke on the back side of my cam gears. Luckily it was only two that broke, and I was able to replace the bolts and not the whole gear like bmw said I had to do. If anyone needs the part number for the bolts message me (don’t have the paper with me rn).

Anyways, I was able to find one head of the bolts that broke and one of them I’m assuming is in my oil pan since I couldn’t find it. I am not sure if it is safe to drive the car or turn it on with that in there. Does the stock oil pickup tube have a net? I’m assuming it would just get caught in my oil filter worst case. Obviously I am going to open the oil pan and take it out but I want to drive it to a different location to use a lift. If anyone has any experience with this plz lmk!
