So I noticed a single Click noise from my Rear left wheel when going up driveways and accelerating so i looked under and noticed grease on the left rear axle. On the diff side.

Couple days ago it broke while making a left and i got it replaced with a $500 NTN axle and its still making the click sound specifically when i go up driveways or make sharp turns and accelerate hard…
Im paranoid that its gonna break agian…..
Please help with advice

Any thoughts guys? Heres what it looked like when i noticed grease than it broke few days later

What caused the initial damage? Did you drive over a curb or get into an accident?

You should file claim with the city. I’m thinking I should check my cv boot but I think they are less likely to tear in a rear drive car vs front drive I’ve had in the past as the drive wheels don’t turn. Just vertical movement of drive shaft. I keep a mental map of where all the potholes are in my area so I can avoid them. Also tell the city to repair them.
