323i 07 shocks
Hi,
I read a lot of post about suspension setup for the E90. The problem i have is that i can't find any shocks that would fit on my 323i 2007 sedan. I guess that's because it's a Canadian only model. Would anybody happen to know where i could buy shock absorbers for my car? I was leaning towards something like the Bilstein B6. I would like to keep stock coils to ensure some ride comfort for those Quebec crappy roads... I'm looking for durability but some sportiness would we great also Kind of a hurry since the front driver side shock is pulverized. Thx |

The same shocks and struts that fit a 328i or 325i sedan will fit your 323i. I have a 2008 323i and just installed H&R sports with Koni yellow shocks and struts without issue. The 323i is the same chassis as a 328i just with a smaller engine and less options in it.

Check realoem.com for compatibility. I did and it seems that it is the same as the 328i, no complication. This can't be said for the front brakes though, as the 328i 2007 has 300mm rotors and the 323i 2007 has 312mm. It cost me 100$ to learn this. |

Thx for your help. In the meantime, i tried to get the answer for Koni and Bilstein without any confirmation that it would fit. Good thing that this forum exist.
@ REMEDYS: About those Koni Yellows. Would those be drivable with stock springs? From my understanding, the ride might be stiffer since the spring is longer. What do you think? I can't lower my car since i use it in our severe winter conditions. |
