Is it a good idea to paint Advan RS Dark Gun Metal 19" to AW (car is M3 E92 AW) ?

Guys,

Just want to have second opinion on the idea to paint Advan RS Dark Gun Metal 19" to AW with red lip (off course, car is M3 E92 AW) ?

I wanted to have similar styling of Volk Racing CE28N Time Attack Edition (White). Here is the example : http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/7765146-post46.html.

What do you guys think ? Bad idea ? Good idea ?

The Advan RS in gunmetal looks fantastic as is. Don't put a time attack stripe on it.

Wait, you want to paint Advan RS gunmetal wheels white? With a red stripe? I love those wheels, please dont. Maybe some used wheels if you want to experiment?

I personally don't think painting the Advan's the same colour as the car will look good. As it is, you've got a classic looking machine.

I don't think painting any wheel white on an AW M3 will look good.

You do realize you referenced a civic site?

That alone should tell you it is a bad idea. The advan dark gunmetal is one of my favorite wheel colors. Color matched wheels to the color of the car is almost always a bad idea.
