A bit frustrated with my Nav

I have a a 2013 Active Hybrid and I love almost everything about it!!! One complaint is the Navigation, it sucks! Is it just me or is anyone else ending up 4-5 blocks away from the destination entered? How can a $61k car nav be so bad? I have to use my cell phone to reach my destination.

Any input would help.

Mine is hit or miss. Sometimes it's spot on, sometimes it's a couple blocks off. No different than in my previous car or when I use Google Maps on my phone. Just look at the addresses.

Thanks man! To be honest this is the first car nav that I've ever had problems with. I hope it is a 2 time fluke lol.

Never had any major issues with mine. Occasionally it will send me on a route that I do not think is the most efficient, but other than that it has been good. Of course I live on a small island so there's not much to get wrong.

Yeah but if something DOES go wrong, you may not just be in the wrong neighborhood. You could be in the Pacific or covered in lava!

But same here...most of the time its as good as any other nav. But I've seen it be off be a few houses.

I haven't had a problem. The 2014 nag has been the best nav out of all of the iDrive navigations so far, I have utilized almost every rendition since 2007.

Had an issue on Sunday when trying to go to Southbank (London). The Pro Nav. wasn't giving me the full postcode. So, instead, I sent the full address via the Connected Drive app. which solved the issue.

It's official, I hate this Nav! Just sent me down the block to where I needed to be.

Well if you think about it as being the same nav available on a $32K 320i, it should help you sleep better at night.

It's a given that Google Maps (or even Apple) is better than nav on any car.

The worst thing about it are the frequent unnecessary, confusing, and sometimes outright dangerous "bear left/right" instructions. Who needs to be constantly told to NOT turn?
