Can anyone help me diagnose this rattle that I get when I start my E92? It lasts barely a second. The car runs and drives amazing, just got it today. One owner and dealer maintained,

Not talking about the wastegate and exhaust flap rattle that can be heard in the video.

That sounds like lifter rattle. When was the last time oil was changed? My N52 makes this sound near the end of the oil change interval when I rev it, not on cold start though. Does the sound happen every time it's started, cold or hot? If there's no record of a recent oil change I'd try that first, ensuring the correct LL-01 oil is used.

I have only started it twice, to get it on the trailer and to get it off/breif drive, no warm starts yet.
Carfax says last oil change was 4k miles ago, so I’ll start with that when I am back in town on friday.
