I lost something.... I just dont know what?

hey guys, i've been lurking this forum for the better part of a year while i saved up for my e92. i was going to wait until i finished a couple mods and got a hold of a capable camera before posting pics but i ran into a weird situation...

what came off my car?

best i can figure it's an access panel for towing? it must have came off during the last trip to the car wash.

it's a 2008 335xi coupe. sorry for my horrible first post lol

I never even asked but my car wash puts tape over the tow covers and washer covers (guess they are experienced in what could happen), but sometimes they forget to take it off and I forget it's there. Then everybody is like WTF is that on your bumper dude

haha! i thought you were talking about your tow hook being a capable camera
my bad, anyways there should be a tow hook cover on top of that, you could go to the dealer the can get it for you and paint it, if not you can get them online easy, or just buy an unpainted one http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E92-335.../Body/ES76436/ got to a body shop I'm pretty sure they can paint it for you pretty cheep. maybe $50.

or just find another bmw take its tow hook cover and if the dealership refuses to give it to you walk around the parking lot and jack one from one of the bmw in the lot LOL JK sealing is wrong and if it was me doing that i couldn't sleep at night

The other day I was cruising the BMW dealership and all the 3-series were missing those. Watch out for those Tow-Hook Cover thieves!

I could imagine the dealership has them inside (put them in during PDI) sessions

When you get your new one, glop some silicone windshield sealer on the edges behind it. It'll keep it from falling out but if you need ot access it, you'll be able to break the seal easily.
