Hey ya'll I was looking and unless I missed it, I don't see a thread conversion thread. So I decided to make one since I've been looking into POSSIBLY do this. So here is the format:
1) what brand studs 2) what length studs 3) what lugs 4) what length lugs 5) pics this should be pretty up front and easy. So lets see them!!!!

heres a link to my thread. I went with the 75mm bullet nose studs. If I were to do it again I would probably do the 90mm bullet nose studs, just to get a little more stud sticking out.

Great timing lol just had some of my stuff apart. heres some facts and specs for you bud. These are 75mm length 12x1.5 (e9x) thread pitch 40mm open end blox type ti nuts, theyre basically all the ti nuts you can buy from alibaba.com. they just rebrand them. Heres some pix with no spacers used, if you plan on using a project kik/project Mu r40's on the 75mm then they will be completely flush with the stud.
I DID NOT use any red/blue loctite on the studs cause i wanted them to be removed easily. Set of OEM x 20 bolts 3.3 lbs Set of RSD studs 2.4 lbs Set of ti x 20 studs 1.3 lbs set of ti x 20 nuts heptagon 40mm 2 lbs TOAL 3.3 lbs Grade 5 Alloy Steel (commonly used on automobiles for lug nut and lug bolt applications) Yield Strength: 92,000psi Ultimate Tensile Strength: 120,000psi Shear Strength: 72,000psi Density: .284 lb/in^3 Grade 8 Alloy Steel (used for lug nuts and lug bolts in high strength applications): Yield Strength: 130,000 psi Ultimate Tensile Strength: 150,000psi Shear Strength: 90,000psi Density: .284 lb/in^3 7075 Aluminum (used on various automobiles for lug nut and lug bolt applications): Yield Strength: 73,000psi Ultimate Tensile Strength: 83,000psi Shear Strength: 48,000psi Density: .102 lb/in^3 Grade 5 6AL-4V Titanium (Tikore's preferred material): Yield Strength: 128,000psi Ultimate Tensile Strength: 138,000psi Shear Strength: 79,800psi Density: .160 lb/in^3

Great thread cuz I was curious also on how other people's setups look before I do this on my car since I wanna do 90mm studs but need to know what lug sizes would fit flush with it.

I don't know if I would use Titanium studs on the street.. they may be stronger and lighter than steel but they don't bend or warp under stress like steel.. they split and shatter. Inspect them often I guess.. Ideally studs should be changed out every couple of seasons..
90mm Turner studs..I think they re-brand ARP...with Project Kics NeoChro R40 lugs.. Fire Orange Orange Brembo Calipers by leemiks, on Flickr --mike |

thanks, my real concern is that if it does poke a little will there be enough threading on the 75mm stud for the 48mm open end lug?
