Thanks was that to the edge ones? As I was going to get BM ones as did not like the overhang on my last ones even though more usable space

I believe they will be quiter due to shape and lower fit and the new wing bar edge out this month looks nicer and very easy fit and had Thule racks since 1980's going going Sking every weekend in Scottish highland never used anything else, new ones look very slick and I use mine a good bit

OE BMW are my favorite and have zero overhang.
The ones you posted are going to be a bit loud, no? If I didn't go OE on my F30 I would have gotten Whisperbars.

I've gone for Thule wingbars....very quiet and great quality. I didnt want the edge version as it restricts loading potential for me ie i roof box and bike at same time.

I picked up from Ebay some Thule square bars and fittings (option A) for a very rude £10 recently and find they make a lot of noise on their own.
They do quieten down a lot when I fit my roof box. The bars start a gentle howling from around 30 mph and with the roof box you have to be above 65-70mph for the same level of noise. If I was in the market again I would choose the wingbar type. |

Got them from this place as part of a roof box combo (good savings).....although not shown for some reason....cannot recall the cost but they are cheaper than the wingbar edge. Best call them |
