xDrive and 9.5" vs 10" rim for 275/35 tire
Im considering to buy wheels front: 9x18 +tire 245/40 and 9.5" or 10x18 +tire 275/35 for xDrive car. Can the different stretch ratio 245/9(=27.2) and 275/ 9.5"(=28.95) vs 10"(=27.5) have any impact on the circumference and potentially on xdirve? Respectively is the 9.5" rear rim fine for this combo with the 9" front rim?

9.5 is fine for a 275, it won't be stretched or bulging. 245 on a 9 will be slightly stretched which would make the diameter slightly smaller And closer to the 275. However, I would run 245/45 and 275/40 unless you are significantly lowered.

This is almost like the stock setup
for the 285 tire is a 10" rim needed I guess. And Im afraid of the front wheels rubbing and the rear ones will pop out |

which wheel tire combo would you recommend to me from the PROTACK ONE (for F31 340iXdrive with stage2-3) ? The car is lowered on the KW PnP suspension, and neg camber front/rear ca -1,7° Im generally afraid of rubbing so wanna be 100% sure I will not. Some people here claim even the 275/35 rubs Thanks https://www.pro-track.de/en/wheels/Protrack-ONE/?feature_categories_id=15&filter_categories_id=15& filter_fv_id[1][]=8&value_conjunction[1]=0&filter_fv_id[2][]=10&value_conjunction[2]=0&value_conjunction[3]=0&value_conjunction[4]=0&filter_fv_id[5][]=32&value_conjunction[5]=0&filter_url=en/wheels/Protrack-ONE/&cPath=130_15&language=en Last edited by Lada-1; 04-09-2024 at 06:53 AM.. |

although increasing tire width(and compound) is one solution for traction. even on an x-drive, you should consider an LSD if you want to put big power to the rear wheels efficiently. |
