I recently started experiencing an issue with my drivers side door lock where it will not lock through the key fob, central lock or through the comfort access on the door handle. It will unlock using the key fob, central lock. comfort access on the door handle and if I manually pull the door handle from the inside. All other doors lock/unlock fine using the key fob, central lock and comfort access. I first visually checked the fuses (22,104,150,163) and they all look fine, so after doing some more research the next step was a faulty door lock actuator, so I ordered one, but unfortunately after replacing it I am seeing the exact same behaviour. I looked online and unfortunately have had no luck finding anyone else experiencing this same issue. Anyone have any thoughts on what else it could be? Am I looking at the correct fuses?

Codes that I pulled from ISTA in case they are of use:
- 80415F - Central locking system: relay for double-locking faulty or fuse faulty
- 804161 - Central locking system: relay for double-locking faulty or fuse faulty

Turns out that there are 2 fuses related to the central locking system in the FEM control module located in the passenger footwell. One of my fuses was blown and after replacing it the drivers side door lock started working as expected (would lock with remote, comfort access and central lock), but unfortunately it was short lived as after a day or so it blew again, so looks like I'm back to square one.

by passenger footwell do you mean for lhd? mine is rhd

Fuses blow when there's too much current draw. It could be frayed wiring insulation, it could be a bad actuator.

I sprayed some spray grease on the lock nipple and it's alright now

Did you have blown fuses? High friction can cause higher than normal current draw, which can cause fuses to blow. Fuses are sized as small as possible for the wire gauge used, the wire gauge is sized as small as possible for weight reduction. It doesn't allow a lot of leeway.
