Custom Wheel Dimensions

Sorry for another one of these threads. I'm trying to pick the right widths and offsets on a set of 19" wheels that will have flush/near flush fitment, have some good concavity, and no rubbing (obviously). Here is what I researched so far:

19 x 9 ET30
19 x 10 ET38

The rears here will go inward an extra 10mm and stick outward an extra 28mm. Front's would go inward 9mm and outward 17mm.

Anyone know if those differences are tolerable?

Sorry those offsets are too aggressive. You're gonna rub and depending on how low you go you will stick out past the fenders. A lot of people do 19 x 8.5 et30 and 19 x 10 et40 as the most aggressive since that's what HRE recommends for their setups but for me, that's even a bit too aggressive and your rears will protrude out with hr sport springs. Personal I'd go 8.5 et 35 and 10 et 45 for a flush and rub free setup.

I kindly disagree. I think 8.5 et 35 on the front will not sit flush although it will be rub free. I have two sets of wheels with 8.5 et35 and both sets could come out 3mm - 5mm more. 10 et45 is bang on for the rears though.

Yup, I agree with you that it won't be completely flush at 8.5 et35. Just wanted to suggest a rub free setup. I'm on 20x8.5 et32 and I rub on big bumps with neutral camber. There is a little more clearance with 19's diameter wise from my plus setup so I'd agree with numbers that you could go out a little more and. It rub. It does depend on how low you want to go and what camber you're comfortable running. Good luck!

Is this the same setup for an e92? The reason I ask is I have 19" VMR 710's on my 08. I was hoping the offset would work on the F30 Msport I am looking at.

Thanks. Having searched a number of for sale threads, this seems like a good setup.

In trying to match overall tire diameters, can you run 245/30/19 and 285/30/19 tire sizes on these, or is running a bit of a stretched 235/35/19 and 265/35/19 setup more realistic?

Wheel sizing between the F30 and E92 are a little different. The fronts should fit just fine (assuming you're using 19x8.5 ET35), however the rears are more aggressive. We normally recommend 19x9.5 ET45 on the rear of the F30.
