Has anyone bought or tried midwestbimmersupply’s equal length midpipe s55 f82?

Hey everyone. I’m planning on getting an equal length midpipe from midwestbimmersupply based out of illinois. trying and save myself a pretty penny while also getting a somewhat similar sound to the active autowerke EL midpipe. i’ve looked up and down for reviews but i couldn’t really find anything, wondering if anyone on here might have anymore luck. thanks!

You can find pretty good used deals on AA midpipe for just a couple hundred more dollars. I have the AA EL non-res midpipe and love the craftmanship and fitment. And of course the sound!

Misspelling both stainless steel and titanium on their actual site isn't ideal. Lol

ehh somewhat. i’d rather not pay full price for AA EL midpipe as i have a few other things planned for the car etc. (if that’s what u meant) and having a cheaper alternative to the valvetronic titanium EL midpipe would be fantastic, i’m just not ready to pull the trigger just yet bc of how too good to be true the pricing is

i know man, theres a big part of me that’s wants to risk it for a biscuit for the titanium out of curiosity to what it could sound like but idk how i feel abt being the guinea pig

i peeped that as well lol. they were at the very least pretty transparent when i messaged them and they seem to have decent exhaust setups for other builds thus far

what i was trying to say is its cheaper to do it right the first time vs having to redo it. Buy once, cry once. if it doesnt work out you are looking at 1.5x if you just bout the AA up front. this isnt a simple single mid pipe.

+1 for AA equal length (non-res). Perfect choice if you are keeping the stock downpipes.

I should have a lightly used one available this weekend - swapping in a Akra - and agree quality is there on the AA.

Where is it made? I wouldn’t buy any made in China cheap stuff that will rust out.

Seems like a realtively new retailer, so I doubt many have used them before.

Also, the fact that it’s so cheap really makes me question the quality.
“Stainless Steal” $599.00
“Titatnium” $699.00

This just screams “resold off Alibaba.”

Their stuff is mad cheap, try it out yourself and let us know your review. 💁🏻‍♂️

Price seems too good to be true. I have a MAD single midpipe which I believe is just a Chinese knockoff of the AA. It was 500$ and works perfect but titanium for 500$ seems crazy to me. I think you should get it and let me know lol

Agree 100%. There’s no way a company that’s manufacturing exhausts made from stainless steel and titanium would misspell both of them, let alone one of them. $100 difference between the SS and titanium versions doesn’t add up either. These guys are just reselling Ali exhausts and, if something goes wrong with the exhaust, you’ll be left dealing with the issues on your own. I’ve been running an AA single midpipe since 2016 and it still looks as good today as is did eight years ago.

There’s one or two Chinese manufacturers that are making all of the fake front IKON headlights and fake OLED GTS taillights. You can easily tell the difference between oem and cheap knockoffs. The oem IKON headlights have their low beam lights on top, all knockoffs have it on the bottom. The headlights due not turn with the steering wheel and they don’t have anti-dazzle either. You can’t even use colored DRL modules because they don’t have them. If you’re series about getting a set of fake IKON headlights, find the vendor with the lowest price or buy direct from the Ali manufacturer.

These companies are reselling big China products for a markup, stickers, and possibly easier returns.

I took my Chitanium exhaust off and put back my AWE switchpath 😄
