1. does exhaust tips makes a diff in the sound or they are just decorative? if so,
2. What is the best Exhaust tips

Stock exhaust = stock tips. If the ZCP or CS tips fit then that’s still oem, I guess. MP CF tips also make the cut.

A tip consisting of a large tip OD and a stock tip ID just doesn’t look right to me. Aftermarket exhausts do the same thing. Actual exhaust tubing is 90 mm yet the exhaust tip OD is 110-120 mm and a steep taper is used to go from 120 to 90 mm over a short distance. It’s easy to see it’s a 90 mm exhaust.

I’ve always been looking for an oem slanted carbon fibre tips

Like those for G82.

In the meantime the ones I have look good and are only €160 for four off Ali express.

I’m not a fan of the ones that come straight out as then can end up looking like wheel barrow handles.

The tips shown in your second image is different from the tips in the first and third images, correct?

Correct. I saw them in a bmw garage last month.

They are the ideal spec but I think they only fit G82

I’m not mad at my MP style AliExpress 3.5” tips. 4 for like $150 ish

Edit: Got a second set in black this time 4”

Just gotta get a proper diffuser that’s not so recessed/tucked in and readjust the tips

OEM black chrome tips. Won't come off on a track day when the exhaust expands. I wouldn't put tips that use a clamp for mounting on a car that would see track days.

I threw a tip.. Most likely at the track. Still love my M performance exhaust though.

I like the OEM CF ones best. Equipped on the MPE exhaust is the way to go if staying near OEM.

These are the 3.5” outlet tips from my first pic .

The black ones are 4” I got from eBay.
