Ideas? M4 is status 150 but I want to change color
Last week I changed my order from SO/Black to BSM/SO. Did it because I had never seen SO in person and was nervous I might not like it.
This Thursday I saw a SO M5 in person and am convinced that its the color I want (badly). I called my dealer and they told me the car went to status 150 that very day and no changes could be made. At the time I accepted it, but the more I think about it, the more I think I should have pushed harder. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might approach this or as to what options I might have? Thanks for any help...

Cancel the order and order a new one... that is really your only option at this point.

Same thing happened to me, I tried to change the color the day after the car went to status 150. The SA was helpful, he made some phone calls and tried to pull some strings. The message in the end was, no, my order was locked. The SA offered for me to place a new order for a new car but obviously that would set delivery back by a couple of months or more. I stuck to my original choice, I'd much rather take my second choice than to wait even longer :-)
BSM/SO is going to look freakin' great! One of the best combos IMO. |

it was week 26 and they moved it up to week 25 (next week). So by moving it up a week I lost the chance to make final change.

Deposits are refundable. Dealers should not contest this, as the car will be highly marketable.

Your SA should have contacted you let you know the deadline on making changes. I was well aware of mine. Keep in mind, my situation was fluid also, with changes to build dates happening seemingly spontaneously.

BSM/SO will look awesome. I say keep it. IMO it looks better than SO/Black.
