Windshield Tint

I currently live in a state where there are no decals or registration stickers required on the front windshield. I had my windows tinted last year, including the front windshield (very, very lightly tinted). However, now I am moving back to Texas (where vehicle registration is affixed to the windshield). Does anyone have any tips on how to avoid tearing up the tint when affixing these decals....or am I doomed to remove the windshield tint altogether? I know technically its illegal to have any tint on the windshield, but after having this very light tint on there, I have found that it really reduces road glare (and I think it looks better too). I guess I could cut out a place for the stickers to go, I guess I just dont want it to look crappy....any thoughts??

i have windshield tint on my car currently and i have placed all my decals on them just fine. It doesn't even look like there's tint. I wouldn't cut bc then it'll look obvious that you have a tinted front windshield.

I'm lucky that Hawaii passed a law stating that we could put tint on our front windshields
